Judith Bowler - Managing Director

Judith has worked in the education and training sector since 1980 and established Workplace Australia Group, a Registered Training Organisation, in 1986. She has a broad experience in many industries including business, health, welfare, manufacturing and the public sector. Judith has detailed and extensive experience in developing educational solutions and providing advice on curriculum design. She has strong values around the importance of adult education and training and is committed to the belief that all people have the power to make positive changes in their lives through education.

In developing her strategic view of the organisational change process and the techniques required to embed change, Judith has provided thoughtful, innovative and cost effective proposals for clients to achieve their strategic business goals. She has extensive experience in working with managers and executives and has a deep appreciation of management issues.

Judith has an extensive knowledge of competency based training frameworks and applications in Australia as well as the associated Federal, State and Territory guidelines and standards that accompany the delivery of training based on national qualifications and competencies. Judith also has detailed knowledge of the vocational education sectors, including CRICOS, and regularly consults to a range of industry associations, skills councils and education providers.

Previously, Judith was an adjunct faculty member of the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM). As a member of the faculty Judith lectured for the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. For 5 years until 2009, Judith was also a NSW state board member for the Australian Council of Private Education and Training (ACPET). She was an invited member of the NSW Business Chamber's work force skills policy committee from 2002 to 2009.

As the former Managing Director of Workplace Australia Group, Judith has 20 years corporate experience in running an expanding training company. It was awarded the honour of being part of the BRW 100 fastest growing businesses between 2003 and 2004. The organisation was also a finalist for two years in the NSW Family Friendly Awards for the introduction of flexible work practices for their staff.

Since selling the business in 2006, Judith established first Willowgrove and then RTO Advance as a specialist consultancy to provide high quality educational services to a broad range of clients.

From February 2009 to 2011, Judith was a National Audit and Registration Agency (NARA) endorsed lead auditor and quality consultant. Judith has the essential skills and expertise to prepare RTO's for audits, self assessments and to advise on the improvement of quality systems and processes.

Judith has gathered together a range of associates who assist in providing specialist education and training and advice to clients in the areas of governance, compliance and quality management systems.
